Ver/Sentir/Habitar presents for the first time at Aurora Vigil-Escalera Art Gallery an extraordinary dialogue between two great masters of contemporary art: Asturian artist Lisardo Menéndez (Mieres, 1960) and Japanese artist Tadanori Yamaguchi (Nagoya, 1970), who has lived in Asturias since 1997. This exhibition, with curatorial text by renowned art critic Fernando Castro Flórez, proposes an encounter where geometry and materials, forms and emptiness, light and shadow intertwine in a deeply poetic relationship.

The exhibition is structured as a unique sensory experience that goes beyond traditional contemplation. While Menéndez presents works of pure geometric abstraction, characterized by the predominance of black contrasted with touches of intense red, Yamaguchi invites the public to physically interact with his white marble and black granite sculptures, breaking down the traditional barriers between work and viewer. Both artists, with extensive international renown and a presence in important collections such as the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias, converge in a shared territory that transforms the gallery into a space for emotional and physical experience.
